The Diamondback Tubular Sleeve offers dual uses by providing line-of-sight operator protection from hydraulic hose failure and abrasion resistance. Often used in construction applications, Diamondback is made from a proprietary engineered fiber woven tightly and heat-treated, which shrinks the sleeve to the finished dimension. The Diamondback Sleeve meets the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC as well as the NSW "Guideline for Fluid Power System Safety at Mines."
Key features and benefits:
Tested over 1.7 million abrasion cycles (ISO 6945)
Meets "Line of Sight" operator protection specification EN982, EN414, EN ISO Regulation 3457:2008
Pinhole protection tested to 4,000 PSI. Burst protection Tested to 12,000 PSI
Temperature tested to 200°F continuous, 350°F intermittent
Cut to length, 50% less bulky than Cordura
Tight, smooth surface contains oil spillage from pin hole leaks
Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) approved IC-289/01
Meets conductivity standard ISO 8031
Unmatched UV Protection

DIAMONDBACK PRO
PIN HOLE, BURST PROTECTION, ABRASION PROTECTION & EASE OF INSTALLATION
The Diamondback PRO Sleeve provides the easiest installation benefits in the market. Operators are saving up to 80% on installation costs when compared to standard nylon sleeves.
How? It's proprietary material and extra tight weave keeps the sleeve in a diamond shape during installation - allowing the hose to easily slide through.
The heat resistant Fire Sleeve is constructed from a high bulk fiberglass fiber that is woven to produce a hollow sleeve and then coated with a thick covering of iron oxide red silicone rubber.
Can be easily installed over hoses^ cables^ tubing or pipes. It offers excellent resistance to molten metal splash^ radiant heat^ abrasion^ corrosive atmosphere^ moisture^ chemicals^ vibration^ and electricity.
In addition to protecting hoses^ cables^ pipes^ etc.^ Fire Sleeve can protect operators from incurring scorching burn injuries on hot braided hoses and pipes. Fire Sleeve's excellent moisture resistance makes it ideal for outdoor applications and heat resistance.
Temperature Capabilities:Rated for 500°F (260°C) continuous exposure^ up to 2000°F (1093°C) for 15-20 minutes^ and up to 3000°F (1650°C) for 15-30 seconds.
Dimensional Data:Available in diameters from 1/4~ (6mm) to 5~ (125mm). Standard length is 100ft (30m). Nominal wall thickness = 0.135~ (3.43mm)
Therma Sleeve SD is a braided fiberglass sleeving that has been heat treated and impregnated with an acrylic binder to reduce fraying and dusting, and improve useability and performance. Therma Sleeve SD was engineered for applications where temperatures as high as 1200°F (649°C) may be encountered.
Therma Sleeve SD may also be used as insulation and protection for small heaters and resistors that operate at high temperatures, and to insulate over soldered connections when exposure to solder melt temperatures is possible.
Max Temp: 1200°F Continuous / 2048°F Melt
UL Recognized: VW-1
For High Temp, Low Voltage Applications
Easy to Install; Cuts with Scissors
Resists Most Organic Solvents
Cut and Abrasion Resistant
THERMA SLEEVE HEAVY DUTY
HEAT RESISTANT SLEEVE
Therma Sleeve Heavy Duty is an extremely high temperature resistant sleeve which is commonly used as thermal protection for cables, wires, and hoses that are subject to continuous and extreme high temperature environments such as engine manifolds and exhaust systems.
Therma Sleeve Heavy Duty is braided from fiberglass yarns and coated with high temperature resins. Therma Sleeve Heavy Duty is extremely tough and durable, maintaining its tight structure under extreme vibration, abrasion, mechanical stress and temperature variations. Therma Sleeve Heavy Duty installs easily over a variety of applications to either deflect or retain heat in environments up to 1,200°F (649°C).
