HEAT RESISTANT SLEEVE
- The heat resistant Fire Sleeve is constructed from a high bulk fiberglass fiber that is woven to produce a hollow sleeve and then coated with a thick covering of iron oxide red silicone rubber.
- Can be easily installed over hoses^ cables^ tubing or pipes. It offers excellent resistance to molten metal splash^ radiant heat^ abrasion^ corrosive atmosphere^ moisture^ chemicals^ vibration^ and electricity.
- In addition to protecting hoses^ cables^ pipes^ etc.^ Fire Sleeve can protect operators from incurring scorching burn injuries on hot braided hoses and pipes. Fire Sleeve's excellent moisture resistance makes it ideal for outdoor applications and heat resistance.
Temperature Capabilities:Rated for 500°F (260°C) continuous exposure^ up to 2000°F (1093°C) for 15-20 minutes^ and up to 3000°F (1650°C) for 15-30 seconds.
Dimensional Data:Available in diameters from 1/4~ (6mm) to 5~ (125mm). Standard length is 100ft (30m). Nominal wall thickness = 0.135~ (3.43mm)
